Geoffrey Vaughan was educated at Hereford Cathedral School and subsequently commissioned into the Royal Signals. He studied classical art in Cyprus where he produced murals and paintings for the island’s first modern de luxe hotel. It was bombed shortly after.

In 2007 he was the UK representative at “Exposition Europeene” in the south of France and took part in exhibitions at the Bishop's Palace and the Old Mayor's Parlour, Church Street, Hereford.

His paintings, done with palette knife and brush, hang all around the world.
